Mike Knowles, PE

Mike Knowles has been with the Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority since 2022 and currently serves as the Authority’s Director of Engineering.

Prior to joining the Authority, Mr. Knowles spent over 20 years working in the consulting engineering field, providing planning, design, and construction services to water and wastewater utilities.

Mr. Knowles has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in environmental engineering sciences from the University of Florida. Mr. Knowles is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida and has been actively engaged for over 15 years in the Florida Water Environment Association, currently serving on the WR3 Committee, and more recently the American Water Works Association (AWWA), currently serving on the Region X Steering Committee.
