Katie Gilmore

Katie Gilmore joined the Authority in 2024 and serves as the Authority’s Director of Operations. Ms. Gilmore has over 20 years of experience in utility operations, water quality, and laboratory analysis. She was previously employed by Manatee County Utilities where she served as the Laboratory Supervisor, Water Treatment Plant Superintendent, Water Division Manager, and Deputy Director over potable water.

Ms. Gilmore has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Stetson University and an M.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University.
